The University Center for the Child and the Family (UCCF) is a University of Michigan facility offering a comprehensive range of mental health services for children and families in the community. UCCF’s professional staff offers a collaborative and caring approach to helping find solutions for each family’s difficult challenges. Clinical interventions are provided by professional staff, postdoctoral fellows, and graduate level students under the supervision of professional staff.

UCCF offers counseling, therapy, and mental health services to children and families in the following areas:

  • Parenting
  • Emotional and Behavioral Concerns
  • Social Skills
  • Grief and Loss
  • Learning Disabilities
  • Relationship Issues for Marriage and Couples

UCCF also offers a range of assessment and diagnostic services for children with:

  • Attention and Learning Problems
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders

We are strongly committed to helping children and families enjoy a happier life, more satisfying relationships, and increased success at school or work. We are dedicated to enhancing positive child and family functioning and to providing quality services at affordable rates. University affiliation is not required to receive services.
